I suppose it is the main problem for ZeroBallistics to be included in GNU/Linux distros software repositories: it does use proprietary library RakNet.

you're right, unfortunately the raknet licensing changed over time, altough Raknet 4 is free for Indy Developers it would still take some effort to move to the new version, so perhaps switching to a open-source freeware lib would be a good idea.

another main drawback of our design/software decisions was to go with GROME as a world/level editor. if someone would like to take the effort and write input/output plugins e.g. for ogitor that would really boost ZB.

"free for Indy developers" doesn't mean it's free (as in speech)
